Hello!
I'm from the great state of Michigan! With more time on my hands now that I finished homeschooling our five kids, I started my creative business---The Cort House. I make and sell Michigan-themed pillows at craft shows, Etsy, and at several gift shops around the state.
My hope is that as you read how I learn & navigate blogging, business, and life, that it will be an encouragement to you to start your dream no matter how old you are.
I love sewing, painting, drawing, repurposing, chalk art, and just about anything else creative--except taxidermy. That's just plain weird.
I also love telling stories, so you might read a couple of those along the way. The stories will be pretty much set in Michigan, which makes a great backdrop, don't you think?
I have 1 husband, 5 kids, 2 sons-in-law, 2 grand babies, and a somewhat over-fed, lazy Golden Retriever named Moose--you'll meet them all at some point if you stick around here much.
